What’s better than a cool picnic in the mountains on a hot summer day? Surround that with the lofting sounds of guitars, fiddles and mandolins. 

And it’s FREE! Will feature five hours of folk and bluegrass music by Grubstake, Uptown Relics, Gobs O'Phun and more!. Historic craft demonstrations will be scattered throughout the Museum and grounds, and costumed reenactors will add a touch of the old west. Turn the event into a picnic with genuine buffalo burgers and other foods from the Pahaska Tepee Gift Shop and Snack Bar.

This picnic environment will offer some seating, however visitors are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs to insure your space in the shade. 

The concert and parking are free. Admission to the Museum is $3 for adults; $2 for seniors; and $1 for children ages 6 - 15. 

Ages five and under are always free.
